CxC automatically creates a dedicated Sales channel in your workspace. Every time an estimate is sold, a notification is posted there instantly — no setup required, no manual entry needed.
This gives managers and admins a single place to see every sale happening across the team in real time, without checking individual job channels or waiting for a report.
📨 What a Sold Estimate Notification Looks Like
Every notification includes:
Sold amount — the total value of the estimate
Estimate name — the name of the sold estimate
Sold by — the team member who closed it
Customer — the customer name
Estimate number — the unique estimate ID for reference
Date sold — when the estimate was marked as sold
Subtotal — the estimate subtotal before any additional charges
Example:
💰 $2,433.18 Estimate Sold Estimate: Gold Repair Sold by: John Smith Customer: Lake George Bowling Estimate #: 143775207 Sold on: Aug 16, 2026 Subtotal: $2,274.00
⚠ The "No Manager Assigned" Alert
If you see this message on a sold estimate notification:
👤 No manager assigned to this technician. Add one in Settings.
It means the technician who sold the estimate doesn't have a manager linked to them in CxC. This matters because without a manager assignment, no one is automatically in that tech's job channels for coaching and oversight.
To fix it: go to Settings → Users, find the technician, and assign them a manager. Once assigned, the alert won't appear on future notifications for that tech.
💡 How to Use the Sales Channel
Track team performance in real time Every sale posts the moment it's closed. No waiting for end-of-day reports or checking ServiceTitan manually.
Spot unassigned technicians The no manager alert flags any tech operating without oversight. Use it as a prompt to clean up your team structure in Settings.
Reference past sales The Sales channel keeps a full history of every sold estimate. Search by customer name, estimate number, or amount to pull up any past sale instantly.
Celebrate wins The Sales channel is visible to managers and admins. Use it to recognize closes, spot trends, and keep the team motivated around revenue.
